St Ives offers the finest standard of professional health care with highly qualified and experienced staff, who pride themselves on placing the needs, wishes and decisions of service users at the centre of day to day life.

"As an independent physiotherapist working at St Ives nursing home for the past 3 years, I have always found the home a pleasant, warm, welcoming environment for both the residents and the staff who all have a good working relationship and professional attitude. The home is run efficiently with all resident's individual needs met to a high standard with affection and great dignity. In comparison to other similar homes, the lifting and handling techniques used are advanced, dealing with the most disable individuals with relative ease. This is a key attribute to the home. All the residents needs both financially and socially are catered for within the home by long term staff. During the year, St Ives holds several events that the residents enjoy; helping to raise funds for trips and social equipment within the home. Last year, the Elder Homes Group, now responsible for St ives have upgrade the accommodation and amenities, making the home more comfortable for the residents."

"As parents, it is apparent that visiting our daughter has an inherent, built in stress factor. Each time we arrive we find that the staff who are responsible for the immediate circumstances in our draughts surroundings maintain a cheerful helpfulness. We are always kept well informed, and they do all they can to help us during each difficult situation, as it arises after a while, many have become more friends, than simple assistants, and so we feel happy with our daughters placement at St. Ives. Thank you everybody."
